Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between beads and sticks?
Beads are ideal for spoon melting with precise dosing; sticks fit mini glue guns for faster, higher-volume runs.
How many beads do I need per seal?
Most 25mm stamps need 2–3 beads depending on paper absorbency. Use our estimator on the home page for planning.
How do I avoid soot or scorching?
Keep the flame tip blue and below the spoon, use a diffuser or micro furnace, and stir gently. Our low-fume blends are designed to resist scorching.
Which surfaces release seals cleanly?
Non-stick silicone mats and lightly cooled brass heads produce the cleanest lift with well-defined edges.
Can I use metallic highlights on all waxes?
Yes. Let seals cure for 2–3 minutes before gently applying a highlight pen or pad to raised areas.
How should I clean brass heads and spoons?
Use non-abrasive foam swabs while the tool is warm (not hot). Avoid harsh solvents that can dull finishes.
Do you offer custom monogram engraving?
We provide blank brass heads for your engraver and can recommend partner shops. Contact us for referrals.
Are your products suitable for event assembly lines?
Yes. Our sticks and controlled heaters are tuned for speed while maintaining consistent quality across large batches.
What is the recommended stamp size for logos?
Most brand marks fit well at 25mm for round seals. For intricate logos, consider 30mm and a higher bead count.
